My work on projects for Dustin Bakkie, the brain behind Epic Higher Ed, started with hearing his idea for a mobile application that allowed professors to do away with data entry altogether using image recognition. I was instantly captivated and after a few discussions was asked to lead a team in an advisory and architectural position for a group of students to work on the app in the next semester. Working with the team gave me a chance to really learn what it takes to lead. EHE is the home of some awesome ideas, so keep on the lookout!
